We are the first generation of women to believe we can have it all. My messy home is a testament to this! In the day-to-day life of ‘having it all’, the image of a care free, laughing woman in a business suit with neat and well-behaved children is not indicative. During my high school years not once was I told ‘one day you will have children and you will have to juggle family and your career’, or maybe the careers officer didn’t quite know this was in store for our generation. And I’ll admit, I was never the type to say I just want to have children and be a mum. I was a project gal and I still am a project gal.
