Growing up on a block in Warrandyte, Melissa’s parents recognised her passion for gardening and dedicated some of their land for her to create her own masterpiece. Every weekend she visited the local nursey and after school would plant and create. From her own rose garden, herb garden, to a wishing well made from bluestones. Fast forward many years and now Melissa is presenting for Better Homes & Gardens and has years worth of experience in Horticulture Media.

Kirsty Lee Akers is an award winning recording artist and was a contestant with Jesse Anderson on The Block 2021. Kirsty is one of Australia’s most unique and authentic recording artists. A rare talent who is proud of her First Nations heritage, she is a woman of the Wonnarua Nation (Hunter Valley – Australia). Akers describes herself as a fusion of country and Americana, with pop stylings.Kirsty and Jesse created a beautiful Hamptons style house on The Block 2021 and are in the initial stages of renovating their new Lake house build in Lake Macquarie NSW and will be filming the new build.View Post
